The slide presentation was an account of the history of mining in Arizona. Mining has played a significant role in Arizona’s history from the arrival of the first Europeans to the present. The presentation covered both the technical and human aspects of mining and the importance of mining in Arizona’s development.

This was the second of three programs scheduled for the first Friday of September, October and November 2003, at the Miami Museum.

This program was made possible by the Arizona Humanities Council, www.AZhumanities.org
