The Miami Boomtown Spree is held each year in April.
FREE ADMISSION & FREE
PARKING. A GREAT FAMILY EVENT!
In April 1939,
town leaders organized a great big party for the community. Thousands of
people attended to celebrate the different cultures with their traditional
clothes, food and dances in the streets. The miners had contests to show who was the best at their trades. The first Boomtown
Spree was born! It was held yearly until WWII, then on & off over the
years. This will be the 16th consecutive year.
